Building Belonging: How Diversity Shapes Our Culture at Workwear Group
At Workwear Group, our culture is powered by people. We believe that when every individual feels valued, included and empowered to bring their best selves to work, we all thrive — together.

Championing Culture Through Connection
One of the ways we bring this to life is through our Culture Champs Committee — a passionate group of volunteers from across the business who dedicate their time to creating connection, awareness and fun.
The committee curates an annual calendar of events that celebrates the many s cultures, experiences and identities represented across Workwear Group. These activities give us the opportunity to come together, face to face or virtually and include food, storytelling, music, experiences and speakers. Each celebration is a reminder that inclusion is a shared journey — and everyone has a part to play.
Celebrating the Spirit of Diwali
Most recently, our Culture Champs led a company-wide celebration for Diwali, the festival of lights.
In the lead-up to the day, the team shared stories about the holiday’s significance, helping colleagues learn about its meaning and traditions. They then hosted a vibrant lunch where team members dressed in traditional attire and came together to share food, stories and laughter. Even WWG Radio joined the celebration with a “Spirit of Diwali” broadcast, amplifying the joy across our sites.
Moments like these capture the essence of our culture — one built on curiosity, respect and the joy of shared experience.

Living Our Values
Our commitment to diversity and belonging is woven through the everyday moments that connect us, inspire us, and remind us that we’re all part of something bigger.

Building Strong Foundations – KingGee & Carpentry Australia Backing Tradies’ Health

But being a tradie isn’t just hard work on the tools – it can also be physically demanding, mentally challenging, and, for many sole traders, isolating. That’s where Carpentry Australia comes in.
