At Workwear Group, we’re always looking for simple, meaningful ways to make a positive impact. Sometimes, the smallest actions can add up to something powerful. We’re proud to introduce our Container Deposit Scheme, now live at our Port Melbourne and Melbourne Airport Distribution Centre sites.
A simple idea, powered by our people
The initiative is simple. By collecting eligible drink containers and diverting them from general recycling, we’re able to give back. Funds are donated to a charity chosen by our team each quarter.
Every can or bottle placed in the right bin contributes to something bigger. Each quarter, our team votes for the cause they would like to support.
This quarter, our team has chosen to support koala conservation. It is a small but meaningful way to contribute to protecting Australia’s wildlife.
Turning small actions into shared impact
Delivered in partnership with Envirobank, the program ensures containers are properly processed while enabling us to support causes that matter to our people. It also extends our impact beyond existing partnerships and into new areas of community support.
Over time, these everyday actions will continue to build, helping us reduce waste while supporting charities chosen by our teams.
