Workwear Group (WWG) is committed to supporting Australian Business and we believe that working with quality suppliers boosts innovation and helps us deliver value. The WWG Australian Industry Capability Program (AICP) aims to maximise Australian content and industry participation in the manufacture of Government Uniforms i.e. clothing, footwear, hats, accessories, and accoutrements.

Our objective is to strengthen sovereign capability and supply chain resilience, including identifying new Australian suppliers and building backup or expanded local manufacturing capacity whilst:

• Ensuring value for money and maintaining quality of goods
• Building and sustaining sovereign industrial capability across Australia 
• Supporting and facilitating Indigenous and veteran employment, and Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) engagement
• Fostering innovation, R&D, and continuous improvement in Australian textile, garment and footwear manufacturing
• Supporting self-reliance and resilience in Australian supply chains
