Supporting Local

We are, where you are

Servicing clients with employee numbers ranging from 10 to 25,000, we have the capability and confidence to supply all sized uniform projects both locally and internationally.

Local Make

Workwear Group is committed to supporting local employment and developing our business partners within Australia and New Zealand. As a long-standing uniform provider, we are unique in the fact that we have state-based offices around Australia with our support office based in Port Melbourne, Victoria as well as a support office and manufacturing facility in Auckland, New Zealand.

With an established in-house design team and technical capabilities, we are supported by 12 strategic manufacturing partners’, that must meet our rigorous ethical sourcing and modern slavery compliance. Therefore, regardless if your uniform is made with a local supplier, or off-shore you can be assured you are in a safe pair of hands.

Given the local and international operation of many of Workwear Group’s customers, we have established the capability to resource support for our clients to meet their specific needs whether this be localised supply or off-shore manufacture.

Whilst some aspects of supply are completed off-shore in order to meet the market-driven pricing of a contract, Workwear Group maintains a dedicated relationship with Australian based companies who provide international service support.

Our objective as a business is to support local jobs first, and we will do this by:

  • Supporting local manufacturing through on-shore production programs where we work closely with our partners to assist with continuity of supply
  • On-shore sustainable end of life programs whereby we have diverted hundreds of tonnes of clothing from landfill
  • Ethical Sourcing & Human Rights, protecting the rights of Australian workers eliminating modern slavery in all its forms we continue to oppose slavery in all forms. Progress on how we assess, remediate and mitigate Modern Slavery risk in our supply chain is publicly available through our 2020 Modern Slavery Statement for Wesfarmers which can be found here
  • Indigenous inclusion through employment, partnerships, and gifts in kind
  • Supporting women in leadership
  • Strategically working with our top local partners to actively grow our partnerships
  • Developing new partnerships to actively support our clients uniform programs
